Smart Devices and communication technology Gadgets are increasingly becoming weapons used by Israel in support of western Countries which raises the questions if independent countries are safe to use technology imported from abroad into the countries

From Pagers to iPhones: Is the Global Technology Supply Chain Becoming a New Battlefield for Israeli Surveillance? The exploding pager and walkie-talkie attacks in Lebanon have raised a question far beyond the Israel-Hezbollah conflict: Can communications devices that people trust for everyday communication be modified, compromised or transformed into instruments of surveillance or attack before they ever reach their users? The events of September 2024 demonstrated that this is not merely a theoretical concern. Thousands of pagers used by Hezbollah exploded across Lebanon on September 17, followed a day later by explosions involving handheld radios. The operation was widely attributed to Israel's Mossad, although Israel did not initially publicly claim responsibility. Subsequent investigations and later accounts from former Israeli intelligence officials provided extensive details about the operation. The pager operation: exploiting the supply chain. The pagers were associated with...

Has Lebanon Lost Control of Its Own Sovereignty? Israel’s Attacks Raise a Bigger Question About the Lebanese State

Has Lebanon Lost Control of Its Own Sovereignty? Israel’s Attacks Raise a Bigger Question About the Lebanese State. By MANNURMEDIA Lebanon is internationally recognised as a sovereign country. It has a government, a president, a parliament, armed forces and internationally recognised borders. But sovereignty is more than having a flag, a president and a seat at the United Nations. A country is truly sovereign when its government has the effective authority to protect its territory, defend its population and make national decisions without being overridden by stronger domestic or foreign actors. And this is where Lebanon's painful reality begins. Israel has continued military operations and strikes in southern Lebanon, even while diplomatic efforts have been taking place. In August 2026 alone, Israeli attacks in the south have killed civilians, while Lebanese authorities have repeatedly condemned the operations as violations of Lebanon's sovereignty. So the question is no longe...

The westerners have now turned Human rights into a political tool that they only fight for human rights when they want and look the other way when they dont want

Human Rights Has Become a Political Tool in the Hands of Western States. Human rights are supposed to belong to every human being, regardless of nationality, religion, race, political affiliation or the country in which they live. The principles are meant to provide protection for civilians, minorities, political opponents, prisoners, journalists and vulnerable communities against abuse and state power. But increasingly, a difficult question is being asked across the world: Has human rights become a political instrument in the hands of powerful Western states? The question does not mean that human rights are meaningless, nor does it suggest that Western governments have never defended people facing oppression. Western countries have played important roles in promoting human-rights standards, supporting international institutions and imposing sanctions against individuals accused of serious abuses. The problem is consistency. When Human Rights Becomes Selective. The credibility of ...

When Interviews or public conference causes problems for those presents for saying what's in their mind which reflects what's in most other peoples mind as well as becoming a Waste of Public’s Time: The Responsibility of Media Personalities to Ask Better Questions

When Interviews or public conference causes problems for those presents for saying what's in their mind which reflects what's in most other peoples mind as well as becoming a Waste of Public’s Time: The Responsibility of Media Personalities to Ask Better Questions Journalism Should Do More Than Fill Airtime or just create dramas that'll remain in debate for a time. Interviews are one of the most powerful tools available to the media. A well-conducted interview can expose corruption, reveal hidden facts, challenge powerful people, clarify public confusion and force decision-makers to explain their actions. But not every interview achieves these objectives. Sometimes, a significant public figure is invited onto a television programme, radio show, podcast or online platform, and the interviewer spends valuable time asking questions whose answers are already obvious. The guest gives predictable responses, the interviewer moves to another predictable question, and the audience ...

Government Cannot Be Blind During Construction and Suddenly Become Very Powerful After Completion

When Government Approves a Building Today and Demolishes It Tomorrow: The Human Cost of Poor Urban Planning. There is a painful contradiction in the way some governments manage land, construction and urban development. A citizen acquires land, follows the required procedures, submits building plans, pays the necessary fees, obtains approvals and, in some cases, secures a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O). The person then spends years building a home, business premises, office complex, hotel, shop or other property. Government agencies may watch the construction take place. They may inspect the site. They may collect approval fees. They may collect development charges, planning fees and other statutory payments. They may even issue documents giving the owner confidence that the development is legitimate. Then, years later, the same government may arrive with bulldozers and declare that the property should never have been there. How did this happen? And perhaps the most important qu...

Must every confiscated item automatically become waste when some of those resources could potentially be safely redirected toward humanitarian assistance, scientific research, recycling, industrial use or other productive purposes?

Why Do We Keep Destroying What Could Still Help People? In an economy where millions of people struggle with food, shelter, healthcare, employment and basic necessities, society needs to seriously reconsider how it handles seized, confiscated, abandoned, expired or otherwise restricted goods. The question is not whether illegal goods should be allowed into circulation. They should not. The real question is: Must every confiscated item automatically become waste when some of those resources could potentially be safely redirected toward humanitarian assistance, scientific research, recycling, industrial use or other productive purposes? This is a question worth asking because destruction itself has a cost. When authorities seize goods, the public may already have suffered a loss through illegal trade, smuggling, tax evasion, unsafe products or regulatory violations. If the final response is simply to destroy everything, society can end up losing twice: first through the illegal acti...

The Tianjiao robot did not achieve the winning distance on its first attempt. It progressively improved throughout the final, jumping 7.32 metres, then 7.62 metres, before producing its decisive 7.97-metre leap. The result placed Team Tianjiao ahead of the other leading robots in the event. A Tianzhuo robot won silver with 7.24 metres, while a Tiangong robot took bronze with 7.19 metres. Just 98 Centimetres From the Human World Record....

China Warns Against US Pressure on Iran, Defends Trade Cooperation China has pushed back against threats of tougher United States sanctions targeting Iran and countries that continue to trade with Tehran, saying its cooperation with the Islamic Republic is consistent with international law. China’s Foreign Ministry said Beijing is closely monitoring developments surrounding the growing pressure on Iran and will take necessary measures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests. The statement comes amid continued US efforts to increase illegal economic pressure on Iran through sanctions designed to restrict Tehran’s access to international markets and discourage other countries from maintaining commercial relationships with the country. China Defends Its Relationship With Tehran. Beijing maintains that its normal economic and trade cooperation with Iran is lawful and should not be subjected to unilateral restrictions imposed by another country. China has long maintained comme...
